Dad I just wanted to say what I didn’t get the opportunity to say. You were a great dad. When you lived with me for 8 years we shared some great memories. I remember the times we went down the wood you would latterly come and “supervise”. But I think you only came for the bacon sandwiches. We would sit on the logs eat our sandwiches and watch the wildlife go by. You would take me with you to fetch the coal from Wales. We would get Roe and Chips with our black hands.

My mum had a fantastic long life. She had a great sense of humour and loved making people laugh. Everyone loved her. She was my friend as well as my mother and we did lots together. She loved all her family and a gathering with us all together made her very happy. In the end she passed away of old age at 99 years. I will always wonder would she of made 100 if she hadn't had dementia.
