My mom - Jean

Passed on 22/2/22. A peaceful end to what has been an horrendous and painful 3 or 4 years. A mixture of exhaustion, relief, upset, anger and a feeling that nothing can ever be as bad as this. I truly believe you are at peace - you certainly deserve to be at peace. I hope you are up there dementia free and with your family and friends. Love you mom.

Mum struggled hard against Vascular Dementia. She died peacefully in her sleep on 9th January 2022. Her memories had gradually drifted away from her; but her memorial service was full of memories of a life well lived with a pictorial record of Mum,s life from childhood to present day. The photo is Mum dressing up at Apple Trees Nursing Home where she spent the last two and a half years.
