I MISS YOU SO! My hitherto tireless Dad, you fought so hard to hold on to life, but God in His mercy, released you from all your distress and confusion, frailty and pain. Your body and mind could not cope with fighting any more infections. You were truly exasperated, my soldier-Daddy. Dementia was merciless, leukaemia was an additional enemy, eroding what little vitality you had left. Your steadily silenced speech tore me apart every day, and your empty, indifferent gaze... BUT I MISS YOU SO!
